Testimonials from Jordana's students:

“I have had the opportunity of taking one-on-one photography lessons with Jordana for the past year and have thoroughly enjoyed her method of teaching. I have made considerable progress in both my technical and artistic abilities in both picture-taking and post-production editing. I have also recently taken a group Travel Photography course led by Jordana which further expanded my understanding of photo analysis and preparation. If you want to improve your photography skills, Jordana is the right person to help you on your journey.” - Ken H.

“This was a fantastic experience. Jordana was friendly and accommodating and crafted a two-day course that was exactly what I wanted to do. It was so great to drive around with someone with insider knowledge and she knew the answer to every question that rattled out of my mouth. 12/10 would do again.” - Jay K.

“I have taken a full-day workshop with Jordana on travel photography and also a 1:1 consult. I plan to have future 1:1 consults as I have quickly realized that she has much to offer students and aspiring photographers. Her depth of knowledge about composition, travel photography and Lightroom is impressive. But just as importantly, she has a keen ability to transfer her knowledge to students in a way that is easy to understand and apply to the art of photography. Jordana is particularly skilled at providing hands-on, concrete tips on how to take great images. I would highly recommend her as an instructor.” - Troy E.

"Jordana's assignments were really thoughtful and challenging. I learned so much from the critique process too. She'd use examples from her own work to explain concepts and WOW!! She's an incredibly talented photographer. I really enjoyed learning from her. Overall it was a great experience." - Sejal S.

“Jordana was a wonderful teacher! Kind, warm, and so knowledgeable!” - Anonymous Survey Response

“I would recommend Jordana as an instructor any day!” - Anonymous Survey Response

“I found myself experimenting with my camera at a higher level than ever before. Also, I was VERY impressed by the depth of Jordana’s knowledge about photography in general and the ins and outs of travel photography in particular. Great class!” - Anonymous Survey Response

“Great class that provides an overview of all styles of photography with practical tips to boost skills in the field and in post. The instructor knows her stuff inside-out and can clearly answer any question. I highly recommend this class.” - Anonymous Survey Response

“Jordana did a great job of sharing her experiences which were relatable to what I encounter (or anticipate encountering). She brought to light the idea of having your photos be the narrative of your travel experience. I think that is really important and I will be thinking about that going forward. Jordana was also really good about how to realistically travel – how to pack, how to plan your photo goals etc… All of these things will stay with me, and I will incorporate them into my future travels (as well as daily excursions) … And last of all – she is really funny and herstories made the class even more enjoyable than I expected. Thank you!!” - Lyndi W.

“I really, really enjoyed this class and I think as it was more fun/light from a technical perspective which allowed me to get some more creative shots in (and was able to apply a lot of the hard-technical skills I learned previously. Jordana did an awesome job with the content, she covered a lot of ground in 7 short weeks. I also like that it helped me figure out what style of travel photography I like the most through our photo morgues and class discussions. Thanks, Jordana for an awesome class!!” - Alicia Y.

“Jordana was well-organized, enthusiastic, shared meaningful material, and took time to answer students’ questions.” - Susan M.

“Since I love to travel, this was a particularly helpful class. Jordana covered a wide range of scenarios a traveler might encounter and provided helpful tips on how to capture them well. I also liked that nearly everything could be applied to taking pictures right here in Chicago. She clearly has a lot of experience in this area and a wealth of knowledge.” - Kent S.

“I really enjoyed Jordana’s candor, enthusiasm for the topic, and insights on the topics we discussed. She clearly has a passion for travel photography and it made the course more enjoyable.” - Leo A.

"Jordana was a pleasure to have as an instructor. She was beyond knowledgeable and relatable. She made concepts easy to understand and always gave great feedback." - Anonymous Survey Response
