Join travel photographer and author Jordana Wright alongside her team for an exciting and immersive week in Belize, Central America's crown jewel! Each booking includes four live online classes customized to prepare for your journey, and culminates in an intimate week-long workshop on-location in sunny Belize. You'll enjoy access to spectacularly beautiful attractions, a diverse variety of subjects, as well as practical application of class topics, all just a short flight from the United States.

Areas of Focus Include:

It's a Jungle Out There: Explore the vastness of the rainforest landscape down to the smallest details around you. We'll discuss how to create compelling photographs in the most complicated lighting scenarios and get the most from a diverse, intricate environment.

Enter The Underworld: We'll enter the Mayan underworld via the Rio Frio Cave, an enormous 65' tall limestone chamber containing a stream, small cascades, unique rock formations, and maybe even a few bats!

Blossoms and Blooms: With an ideal sub-tropical climate, Belize is home to literally thousands of species of flowering plants, including over 200 orchid varieties. Macro opportunities abound at nearly every location, and just wait until you see the colors!

Water, Water, Everywhere: Practice with long exposures and reflections along the banks of rivers, shoot quintessential Caribbean beaches, and expertly capture pools filled by cascading waterfalls. Did we mention your accommodations have a pool?

For The Birds: Belize is known for its spectacular bird habitats throughout the country. We'll have time to explore wetlands, forests, and other specialty habitats that are home to a diverse array of native and migratory species.

The Ultimate Melting Pot: Belize's unique cultural blend will be on full display in local markets, cultural sites, and along the roads and trails we'll use throughout our journey. The warmth of the local community is unmatched, making this is a street photographer's paradise.

History at Your Fingertips: The Mayan ruins scattered across the country of Belize are some of the most spectacular subjects to photograph anywhere in the world. We'll visit the best of the best to learn about the amazing history of the Mayan Civilization with our private tour guides.

Food For Thought: San Ignacio can proudly claim some of the top dining experiences in Belize. You'll have a chance to shoot several dishes and beverages in a tranquil garden setting, and time permitting, witness a plating and cocktail demonstration by the Head Chef and Mixologist. Then you get to eat!
